The Michigan County Medical Care Facilities Council invites you to join us at our 2024 Spring Management Conference & Trade Show at Boyne Highlands at Harbor Springs - June 10-13, 2024. Each year, the Council hosts this conference to provide continuing education, committee meetings, an annual business meeting and a trade show for nursing home administrators, directors of nursing and governing board members. To maximize your opportunities, plan to attend the board meeting and all educational sessions. Welcome back to all who join us each year, and welcome to anyone who is a new member of the Council.

Travel the Exhibits
Passports showing the company name of each exhibitor that participates will be printed and distributed to attendees. When attendees visit each booth listed on their passports, they should present the card and ask the vendor to initial over their company’s name. Completed passports will be handed in and placed in a drawing. Passports will be drawn and prizes given following the close of the vendor exhibit. (pending vendor ’s agreement to participate).
Silent Auction
Tuesday, June 11 from 5:00PM - 8:00PM
Our scholarships have helped to provide more than $10,000 to MCMCFC member employees or their family members to advance their education. We are, once again, asking for you to donate to our annual silent auction. Popular silent auction items include: travel vouchers, gift baskets, and home decor.
Please send donation information by May 31, 2024 to Tammi Connell, at conference@mcmcfc.org, Be sure to include a short description of the item and the donation value. All proceeds from these events go to the Gary Easton Scholarship Fund.

CANCELLATION POLICY
All cancellations must be submitted to MCMCFC in writing on or before May 31, 2024. The registrant will receive a refund minus an administrative fee of 20%. No refunds will be issued if canceled after May 31, 2024.

According to a 2021 article in the Journal of Clinical Nursing, the most common occupational health problem affecting nurses is low back pain. Moreover, staff injuries impact the quality of life of the healthcare worker and lead to added staffing challenges that impact resident care. This lunch and learning presentation will explore how to care for the caregivers, promote staff well-being by adding value to your employee healthcare benefits in the areas of prevention, supportive care, and pain management.

Wednesday, June 12, 2024 | Boyne Highlands - The Moor & Donald Ross Memorial Courses
Tee times start at 12:30pm
The cost is $125 per person. This price includes green fees, cart rental, beverages, prizes and a donation to the Gary Easton Scholarship Fund.
This event is open to attendees and vendors. Anyone not registering as a foursome will be placed with other individuals (conference attendees and/or vendors alike) to assemble a foursome. Though every effort will be made to ensure a good mix of attendees and vendors for each foursome, final foursome groupings are not guaranteed.
Mulligans - We will be offering mulligans for $5 each. Proceeds for the purchase of a mulligan (considered a "do-over") are donated to the Gary Easton Scholarship Fund. Each purchased mulligan allows one player (not team) to take a "do-over." For each player who takes a mulligan, it will require one mulligan per attempt.
Banquet - The cost of the banquet is NOT included in the golf registration fee. To attend the dinner banquet, the purchase of a dinner ticket is required - $55 per ticket.
