The Michigan County Medical Care Facilities Council has named Joe Coleman of Manistee County Medical Care Facility (MCF) in Manistee as its new board president.
Coleman will lead a 10-member body that also includes three new directors:
- Megan Garza of Maples MCF in Benzie County, representing District II
- Stephanie Cornish of Calhoun County MCF, representing District III
- Cody Rabideau of Tuscola County Medical Care Community, representing District IV
“A board president is one critical component of MCMCFC’s 60 years of success,” said MCMCFC Executive Director Renee Beniak. “Joe Coleman brings years of long-term care leadership experience and participation with MCMCFC to this role.
“I look forward to collaborating closely with Joe over the next two years as we build on the previous Board’s leadership and continue with strategic planning and ensuring the long-term vision and benefits of MCMCFC remain available to members for many more years.”
Coleman and the other board choices were made during the group’s annual membership meeting in Harbor Springs on June 9.
