Bay County Medical Care Facility is a non-profit skilled nursing facility located in Essexville, Michigan. Operated by the County of Bay in conjunction with the Department of Human Services of the State of Michigan. The facility has 206 beds all dually certified by Medicare and Medicaid. The facility provides complete skilled nursing care, including rehabilitation services, Alzheimer's and hospice care. The facility is located in Hampton Township just adjacent to the Bay County Golf Course. Bay County Medical Care Facility offers 24-hour skilled nursing care for those individuals who are chronically ill or are recovering from an illness or injury. We offer both short and long term care depending on the needs of the resident. It is our mission to create a home like atmosphere for our residents.
