A 194-bed skilled nursing facility with ancillary services including comprehensive skilled nursing care, medical director, physician services, skilled therapy, rehabilitation activities, Social Services, diagnostic services, Registered Dietitian on staff, and a volunteer program. Jackson County Medical Care Facility is operated under the direction of the Jackson County Department of Human Services as a non-profit, governmental organization providing high quality residential/nursing care for the citizens of Jackson County. It is operated with an emphasis on managing resident care to facilitate the medical, mental, and social well-being of each resident. The staff of the Medical Care Facility strives to foster a dignified quality of life with maximum self-determination allowing residents to meet or exceed the expectations of the regulatory process.
