Council now accepting applications for 2021 Easton Scholarships
MCMCFC is now accepting applications for the 2021 MCMCFC Gary Easton Scholarships, which are designed to assist employees of a Michigan county medical care facility or their family members with the costs of pursuing a career in health care.

Since 1989, MCMCFC has awarded more than $160,000 in scholarships benefiting approximately 200 students. The scholarship is funded through the organization’s annual golf outing, silent auction and raffle held during its Spring Management Conference. The scholarship was renamed in 2018 for Gary Easton, long-serving administrator of Lapeer County MCF and coordinator of the scholarship program, annual golf outing and chairman of the Scholarship Committee.
The Scholarship Committee will review and consider students’ extracurricular efforts (athletics, music, leadership programs, community service, achievement awards, etc.) in addition to their academic performance.
Scholarship winners will receive notification from the administrator at their local facility. Other applicants will be notified by email by Sept. 15, 2021. Please be sure to include your email address.
Applications must be received by Friday, July 30, 2021.
